Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among 15-20 year olds and

more than half of teens who die in crashes are passengers, most of whom are not

wearing a seatbelt. Also studies have shown that a young driver’s chance of getting

in a fatal accident doubles when a teen passenger is in the car. With 3 or more

passengers, the risk quadruples.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety created a list of the safes cars for teen drivers

based on model year 2010

Large Cars: Buick Lacrosse, Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS, Volvo S80

Midsize Cars: Audi A3, Chevy Malibu, Chrysler Sebring (4 door), Mercedes C class

Subaru Legacy and Outback, VW Jetta and Passat Sedans, Volvo C30

Small Cars: Honda Civic (4 door), Kia Soul, Nissan Cube, Subaru Impreza (Not WRX), VW Golf

Midsize SUVs:Dodge Journey, Subaru Tribeca, Volvo XC60 and XC90

blog_thumbnailWe are now offering a 1-year warranty on all labor!

We are so excited to offer this warranty to our amazing customers! What does this mean for you? It’s simple: let’s say you have your belt replaced and 6 months down the road it’s making noise. That’s annoying, but thanks to our new warranty it’s not expensive! Perhaps the part is defective – this does occasionally happen – so we will replace it with no charge to you. Of course, we do everything possible to ensure the best quality parts for the best price but, by extending our warranty, you have even more peace of mind!

We depend on our cars every day!

blog_thumbnailWe need to drive to work, get the kids, and to get groceries. The best way to make sure your car is going to be in top working order is preventive maintenance. From the basics of regular oil changes to mileage interval services based on your manufacturer’s recommendations. I always say it is better to do a little at a time when you can budget for repairs as compared to when you break down and are being towed in.

We go over a list of over 30 items when servicing your car as part of our customer courtesy check list. This it is a great way to get an overall look at your car and what if anything that needs to be done in the future. Give us a call or complete our online contact form if you would like to schedule your car in and check out our customer courtesy check list.
