Recall’s what you need to know

What is a vehicle recall? Your vehicle is recalled when the NHTSA believes that your car doesn’t meet a minimum safety standard.

To check if you car has a recall go to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website and put your Vehicle Identification Number (17 charterer) that can be found on your registration or on the dash of your car. It will show any open recalls that haven’t been done.

If your vehicle does have an open recall you should call your local dealer (unfortunately we can’t do recalls at ESP) and they should be able to take care of it in a timely manner.

Covid19 update 5/31/2020

Hello,

As state guidelines change and conditions continue to improve, we have responded and we now will be open Monday through Friday, opening at 8:00 a.m.  As we move forward, we are still a bit uncertain of our closing time, that will depend on business volume.  We do expect to be here at least until 4:00 p.m. and up until 5:30 if needed.  Please be aware of this when scheduling appointments and we certainly can make arrangements for you to pick up your vehicle at a later time if necessary.  Our waiting room will be open on Monday, June 1st.  We now have plexiglass at our service counter and we clean surface areas on a routine basis.  Our technicians use protective gear while working on your vehicle and wash hands before, after and often during their contact with your vehicle.  We continue to be mindful of everyone’s safety.

All of us here have appreciated everyone’s ongoing support.  I also want to recognize the technicians and staff who felt compelled to come to work, to keep everyone on the road.  As a matter of fact, the first car that we fixed after our return from a brief hiatus, was for an emergency room doctor – who needed her Honda Pilot to get to work.  They felt their role was essential and it made each of them feel as if they were helping and contributing to the benefit of others.  Kevin, Chris and I are grateful for their dedication, for their positive attitude and for their inspirational spirit of community.

Take care and thank you.

Covid 19 Update

Update:
I hope that this message finds everyone and their families healthy and happy! At ESP Auto, we have all remained healthy and as the days get longer, the weather improves, and the flowers are beginning to bloom, our spirits are rising. It has been so incredibly inspiring to see how we have all come together as a community – by staying at home, social distancing, wearing masks in public, and washing our hands. We have done our part to reduce the spread and provide a more manageable crisis for our hero healthcare providers to deal with. This pandemic has had an impact on everyone, nobody has been immune – from the virus or its effects. Our hearts go out to all who have lost friends and loved ones, many of us know someone who has passed from this dreadful and deadly virus. Our thoughts also go out to the many small businesses who have been closed, with some unfortunately having no plan to reopen. We appreciate all who have provided the essential services needed – such as those who work in grocery stores, gas stations, law enforcement and fire stations, as well as doctors, nurses and all of those on the front lines supporting the health workers and pharmacies. We whole heartedly thank you. As time moves on and conditions change/improve, we will be updating how we operate. We look forward to unlocking our door and having a more personal interaction – albeit through plexiglass.

We are working by appointment only. Call and leave a message if we are not open. We are working on a limited schedule. Leave a message and we will call you back!  413-527-1232

When you are dropping off a car for a scheduled appointment:
